Grid Meter

The grid meter tracks how much power your home takes from the grid and feeds into it. For Alpha 3600 AC, the grid meter is the SMILE-A-AECP1-R12-WB, which you connect to your household electricity meter.

You need a grid meter to use the advanced smart modes: Self-Consumption, Price-based Control and AI Mode. Until a grid meter is connected, these modes are locked. See Modes Switch.
