AI Mode
AI Mode runs your battery for you. It uses electricity prices, the weather forecast and your usual consumption to plan when to charge and discharge, and updates the plan through the day, always within your backup reserve. On a flat-rate tariff, it simply maximises self-consumption.
AI Mode is in beta. It is an advanced mode, so it needs a grid meter. See Grid Meter. For the best results, also connect your electricity prices. See Electricity Prices.
INFO
Electricity Prices, Price-based Control and AI Mode are in a limited beta and are currently available to selected users only. They are not yet available to all users, so they may not be available in your app.

How AI Mode plans your day
An illustrative day:
- Overnight - charges your battery for later, when electricity is cheaper.
- Midday - stores surplus solar, when solar is abundant.
- Evening - powers your home, when demand or prices rise.
To do this, AI considers Energy prices, the Solar forecast and Home demand. AI Mode works within your battery settings, and you can turn it off at any time.
