# Safety Instructions

### Declaration

This manual contains important information regarding product operation. Please read it carefully before operation.

Please keep this manual properly for future reference during installation, operation and maintenance.

Please strictly follow the instructions in this manual for installation, operation and maintenance to avoid product damage, personal injury and property loss. For a system that has not completed commissioning, be sure to shut down the system (batteries, energy storage inverters, etc.) before the installers leave the site.

If a fault occurs during normal operation, please refer to the troubleshooting table to resolve the issue first. If the problem persists, contact AlphaESS engineers in a timely manner. Before receiving a response from AlphaESS engineers, be sure to shut down the system (batteries, energy storage inverters, etc.).

To ensure optimal reliability and meet warranty requirements, the energy storage system must be installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the instructions in this manual. The company shall not be liable for any consequences caused by violation of general safety operation requirements or failure to comply with the safety standards for the design, production and use of the product.Product damage resulting from such violations shall not be covered by the warranty.

### Operator Requirements

* Operators must hold professional qualifications issued or authorized by AlphaESS.
* Operators must be familiar with the product, including its composition and working principle.
* Operators must be familiar with the product manual and strictly follow the manual for installation, operation and maintenance.
* When performing any product-related work, ensure that at least two operators are present. Do not perform maintenance work until the product has been shut down.

### Personal Safety

* Place obvious signs at circuit breakers of PV modules, batteries, energy storage inverters, distribution boxes, etc., to prevent accidents caused by accidental switching on.
* Put up warning signs or safety warning tapes near the operation area.
* When performing electrical connection, trial operation, or product maintenance on the system, use a multimeter to conduct electrical measurements on the product to ensure that electrical parameters meet requirements. Use and connect the measuring equipment correctly to ensure personal safety.
* The system contains high voltage, and accidental contact may cause fatal electric shock. Therefore, proper protection must be provided during live-line testing.
* Ensure that the system connection and operation comply with relevant regulations to prevent electric arcs or electric shock accidents.
