### View earnings at different times

You can use the time selector at the top of the page to view earnings performance by different dimensions:

* **Day / Month / Year**: View earnings for a specific date, month, or year
* **All**: View the cumulative earnings since the system was installed (date selection is hidden in this mode)

After selecting a time range, all data and charts on the page will update synchronously.

### Self-consumption Rate and Renewable Achievements

**Self-consumption Rate:** On the earnings page, you can see the**self-consumption rate card**, which visually shows where the PV power goes

* The donut chart shows the self-consumption rate within the current time range
* Clearly distinguish the flow of PV generation:
  * Home Load
  * Battery Storage
  * Feed-in to Grid

This helps you determine how much of the generated electricity you used yourself.\
\
**Renewable Energy Achievements:** The same card also shows your renewable energy achievements

* It reflects the proportion of household electricity usage coming from renewable energy or batteries within the current time dimension
* Helping you intuitively feel the contribution of green energy to energy independence and daily life

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/70f209f78f17aa3261f9e4a24e7eb9a886c4fdfe" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### Energy Earnings

Shows the estimated earnings within the selected time range, consisting of three parts:

* **Self-consumption Earnings**
  * Use PV electricity directly to power the home or battery
  * Calculated based on the electricity cost saved at the corresponding time period's purchase price
* **Feed-in Earnings**
  * Sell excess electricity to the grid
  * Calculated based on the feed-in tariff for the corresponding time period
* **Valley-to-Peak Earnings**
  * Charge the battery from the grid during Valley electricity price periods and discharge it to supply the home during Peak electricity price periods
  * Calculated by subtracting the Valley charging cost from the Peak purchase price to determine the electricity cost saved

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/423004f60880039e649331e7b3e4a47581994fa1" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% hint style="info" %}
The system automatically performs the calculations, so no manual intervention is required. Please note:

* Earnings calculations are based on the tariff plan you configured
* If earnings appear abnormal or missing, please check first [Utility Tariff Plan](#gong-gong-shi-ye-feilji-hua)(click the gear icon in the upper right corner) whether it is complete and whether the device is online
  {% endhint %}

### Utility Tariff Plan

Earnings calculations depend on the **buy electricity price** and **sell electricity price**. These electricity prices can usually be found on your utility bill. After entering the system, please follow the guide to complete your tariff plan to ensure the earnings calculation matches the actual situation. The utility tariff plan currently supports three electricity price modes:

* Fixed Tariff
* Time-of-Use Tariff
* Dynamic Tariff (day-ahead price data sourced from [ENTSO-E](https://transparency.entsoe.eu/))

{% hint style="info" %}
Dynamic tariffs are already supported in many European countries/regions including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland, and more are being added continuously
{% endhint %}

#### **Start setting up your tariff plan**

#### **1. Set up a fixed tariff**

* A fixed tariff is suitable for regions where electricity prices are the same throughout the day.
  * Entry point: Select the "Fixed" mode
  * Required inputs:
    * buy electricity price
    * sell electricity price
* The system will use the same tariff to calculate earnings for the entire day, with no additional configuration required.

#### **2. Set up a time-of-use tariff (TOU)**

* Suitable for regions where electricity prices vary by **Season / Weekday / Time Period** .
* A time-of-use tariff consists of two parts:
  * Time period: describes when the electricity price changes
  * Tariff type: describes the price level for that period, including peak, Peak, normal, Valley, deep valley, and custom types
* Start setting up a time-of-use tariff
  * Select time factors
    * Season: create multiple seasons using "start date - end date"; the months of different seasons may not overlap
    * Weekday / Weekend: if weekdays and weekends have different electricity prices, you can distinguish them here
  * Set time period ranges
    * Divide a day into different time periods.
    * Each time period must be assigned a tariff type.
    * Time periods may not overlap.
  * Set tariff type prices

    * Each tariff type (such as peak, Peak, etc.) needs corresponding buy electricity price and sell electricity price settings

{% hint style="info" %}
After setup is complete, the system will automatically calculate your overall earnings based on the tariff type matched to each time period.
{% endhint %}

#### **3. Market price (also known as dynamic tariff)**

Suitable for countries and regions where electricity prices **fluctuate by the hour** . It currently covers many European markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland, and continues to expand.

Electricity prices are [ENTSO-E](https://transparency.entsoe.eu/) published in real time, providing next-day 24-hour prices every day.

If you use a dynamic tariff contract, just select "Market Price - ENTSO-E Day-ahead" in the tariff plan. The system will automatically fetch day-ahead prices every day and update your earnings and dynamic tariff strategy in real time, with no manual input required throughout the process.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/8fd4799caac10e4f28a60fd06c460f87b14bd7f8" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

**How does market price work?**

* ENTSO-E publishes next-day hourly buy/sell electricity prices every afternoon
* The system automatically syncs this data
* Your earnings are updated hourly based on real market prices

In other words: you buy and sell electricity every day at real-time market prices, and the system automatically records and calculates everything without any manual operation.<br>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Frequently Asked Questions:**

* Why are electricity prices different every day?&#x20;
  * Day-ahead electricity prices change in real time based on factors such as generation costs, weather, and demand, which is the mainstream market mechanism in Europe.
* Why are electricity prices lower at night?&#x20;
  * Prices fall when demand is low; prices rise when demand is high. This is normal market behavior.
* Are dynamic tariffs stable?&#x20;
  * Prices will fluctuate, but an energy storage system can use those fluctuations to reduce costs or increase earnings.
