# Away Mode

### How Away Mode Works
* After you set your away date, the system will record your current battery level and operating settings
* During your absence, the system will limit unnecessary discharging and reserve a fixed percentage of energy as backup (typically 50%)
* A higher reserve level will significantly reduce battery cycling, thereby protecting the equipment and home safety
* Once the return date arrives, the system will automatically restore the settings you had before you left home
### Use Cases
* Traveling abroad, long-term business trips
* No need to optimize household power usage; you only want the device to operate safely and with peace of mind
You only need to set it once, and everything else is done automatically.

Tip: When the reserve level is increased, the available energy will decrease, and the system may draw power from the grid and incur charges. Please choose the balance that suits you best.
